Farewell to Another Season of Farmer's Market!

As the days grow ever shorter and the air becomes crisp it becomes time, once again, to culminate our neighborhood Farmer's Market for the season this Thursday. This season was our consistently busiest yet as more and more neighbors contributed to the weekly offering with produce, baked goods, eggs, freshly prepared salads, jewelry and even handmade furniture. More neighbors came down each week to share a laugh, a beer, a hug; all in the spirit of community. The produce was slow in coming due to the unusual weather we had early on, but a good time was always had. Thanks to all who supported the Market each week and for those of you who missed out you've got one more evening to come down. This Thursday Janice will have onions, chives, squash, pumpkins, peppers, tomatoes, gourds, sunflower bird feeders, harvest baskets and other giftie items. We hope to see you, if not this week then next spring when we kick off a new season of our very own Garden Farms Farmer's Market!
