Garden Farms Mystery

Several weeks ago, while on an early morning walk, Kelly Ferguson and Melinda Forbes discovered a pair of curious circular patterns pressed into the swamp grass just outside of the Garden Farms community. The circles were independent of the walking path, indicating no path of entry for their creators. They were in an open field, offered no protective shelter for local wild life and contained no animal scat. Kelly and Melinda examined them the following day and discovered a third circle.
Juliette Maracchioli and Melinda returned to the site to measure, photograph, and record the mysterious phenomenon on the morning of July 2nd. The largest was named "Mother Turtle." With its egg-shaped form and small rounded head-like feature at one end, the crop circle measured approximately 20’ x 22’. ‘Nautilus,’ a spiral form, measured 18’ x 19’ and perplexed the visitors even more-- did its creators intend to build a labyrinth to draw in those encountering the circles? ‘Flo’ was the smaller of the three and measured 10’ x 12.' Its form was less distinct. Perhaps Flo is still a work in progress?
What or who is responsible for their creation? Is it evidence of elusive and agile herds of nocturnal animal life? Hapless picnickers or fun loving kids? Flocks of large, huddling bird species? Or are they rudimentary crop circles created by unknown forces of nature?
